Both, our clients and our prospective clients are of high importance to us. We’re constantly striving to provide the best product, combined with the highest level of service.

‘Now what could add to this service?’ I hear you asking yourself…

FREE CHOCOLATE, OF COURSE!

Our chocolate is actually a well-known brand of luxury organic confectionery. After indulging yourself with your first bite into the rich and creamy chocolate, it will tantalise your taste buds with its mouth watering flavour. We hope at that point that you’ll think, ‘Hmm Design BP, I’ll remember them!’

Now, after reading that description, you must be craving some of this mysterious chocolate (I can tell you that I am just from writing it!). Just pop over a comment along with your details and we’ll gladly send some over. For free!

Act quickly though! It won’t last long – Especially with all the chocolate fiends’ in the office!

ASI Fire Fighting Leaflet Drop

ASI Fire Fighting are targeting the local Halesowen and Warwick areas with a leaflet drop.

The aim is to make people aware of the fire stations closing down, putting their houses at higher risk due to longer journey times. By owning fire extinguishers, people can try to combat small fires whilst waiting for the fire brigade to arrive. It is peace of mind for people and an extra precaution, just in case anything did ever happen.

We hope this will make people aware of the necessity of a fire extinguisher and how they can protect their home and their families with a home extinguisher pack.

Make your Business the Centre of Marketing

As new ways of communicating with your target audience are introduced on a fairly regular basis, today’s consumer is more sceptical than ever of cold calling and other impersonal sales tactics.

Apart from online sales, you know yourself that the vast majority of people will ‘buy into’ another person rather than a brand and not neccesarily a product alone. Face to face is a great way of achieving a high conversion of sales so if your business is targeting the consumer consider marketing your business in your local shopping centre.

The footfall in any shopping centre provides good exposure to your organisation, your brand and you. A simple pull up banner clearly displaying your services (not too busy with detail) will capture passing eyes if only for one or two seconds. A friendly, smiling & knowledgeable representative has a chance to convert passing interest into sales opportunities. These retractable banners are widely available on the internet from around £140 for the print. Just make sure you are getting a good clear message over in the design with a strong call to action.

From our research, prices for a typical floor space start from as little as £300 per week. So as you can see, for a small financial outlay plus your (or a colleague’s) time, you can gain both a great deal of exposure for your business along with some quality sales prospects.

We are now working alongside Dudley Canal Trust

Design bp are now helping Dudley Canal Trust with their marketing. We are currently working on several projects to help increase footfall and interest.

Last month we organised a questionnaire to gain peoples feedback of the trip, which was a great success.

One of the main target markets is the education sector. To introduce the services and tours provided by Dudley Canal Trust, we are designing new literature and a website for schools to view and find out more. We are making the whole trip look more exciting so people want to visit the canals and learn more about the history of Dudley.

We are also currently designing literature for a horror night organised for Halloween. The aim is to really promote upcoming events, so people are aware of the great trips available.

Keep checking the blog for further developments on the marketing. So far Dudley Canal Trust have been really excitied about what we have produced so far.

Dudley Canal Trust Food Vouchers

We are organising a customer survey to be held at the Dudley Canal Trust Trips. This will record consumer behaviour in order to improve the services and find out out exactly what people like about the trips, whilst visiting the attraction.

People are given an incentive to fill in the questionnaire, by receiving a food voucher to spend at the Catering Unit. This means that Dudley Canal Trust are happy by recording peoples views and the customer is happy for receiving money off food during their visit.

Midland ACS Marketing – Toolbox Leaflet

As part of Midland ACS’s marketing campaign, the first literature being sent out is a “toolbox” leaflet.

The leaflet is concertina which gives the effect of a toolbox when opened. The main aim is to introduce the products and services available from Midland ACS.

The leaflet is contained within a custom made envelope, which is laminated for extra protection, and also feels and looks luxurious.

These will be sent out to contractors and procurement. We have previously posted about the second mailer- a blueprint, so keep a check on our blog for the last stage ideas for this project.

Midland ACS Direct Marketing Campaign – Blueprint

midland acs blueprint

Midlands ACS are currently targeting specific areas in the industry and wanted new and unusual ways to attract new clients. Their aim is to market their products, make their name known and inform people of their services including specialised and bespoke products.

There are three different campaigns being sent to their target market- engineers.

The one will be a blueprint as pictured above. This shows the latest valve produced by Midlands ACS with full descriptive information on the second page. These will be sent in a postal tube, so it looks like a genuine blueprint. The single colour on a light uncoated paper makes the blueprint look even more genuine.

We will posting the other two parts of the campaign soon, so keep watching the blog for more information.
